Zahir Seminar

In july 2014 I attended the seminar zahir. The seminar held at the Gunadarma University, Depok. Mrs. Benny Susanti become speaker in the event. The reason for this seminar is to increase knowledge and skills in using software zahir. I followed the event with how to apply to the chairman of class and pay Rp 50,000.  

Russia military exercises

Russia has expanded the number of troops taking part in military exercises across the country.

Speaking in Moscow, General Valeri Gerasimov said a total of 80.000 and 220 warplanes were being deployed to the Arctic, the southern Caucasus and the contested Sakhalin islands (in the Pacific Ocean close to Japan), and other regions.

Russia's show of force is believed to be in response to NATO's build-up of tanks and military vehicles in the Baltic states.

NATO has said it will defend member states which potentially may be vulnerable to Russian military action.

The Electric Streetcars

The electic streetcar was popular amoung the people in cities in the united states after 1880 when an enginer invented a cable that could run from wire overhead to a streetcar’s electric engine. Because there was this overhead wire, it wasn’t necessary to have dangerous electric rail running along the street a ground level, and this was a very important feature of the streetcar in those cities the used them.

During the next 20 or 30 years or so, from 1880 onwords, the electric streetcar was very popular with passengers in big cities all over the USA. It was also profitable for the companies. However, early in the next century, automobile manufacturers and other bussines interests made an effort to get rid off all the streetcars in the street of big cities and replace them with buses and cars. Eventually the situation was that all the streetcars disappeared, and cars completely took over all the city street.

The Important of Mathematic

it has occurred to me that one of the most important subjects that we study in school is    mathematics. If we do not know how to the simple arithmetic when we do some everyday kind of activity like go to the grocery store. We will not be able to keep our track of our finances. It is necessary for us to understand things such as interest rates on bank accounts and loans for houses or cars in order to keep keep of track our personal accounts without gong bankrupt. Many people are poor not because they do not earn enough money, but because they don’t understand the mathematics behind finances.

Besides the importance that mathematics has in our financial lives, it is also important in many other parts of our lives. There is the need that we have to measure and calculate number when we cook, for exemple. In the kitchen, we have to know about mathematical and multiplication. Not being to able to figure out the sums for cooking a cake could have the final result of a terrible tasting disaster.
